what about building a link between the trips and the members, so that a member can look at his profile and see all the trips he has attended.

You could even use the same format to confirm members for a trip.

should be quite easy to do in MySQL, let me know if you need a hand.

Bradley, Megamoe can answer this .. The only thing I know in computer is the on/off button
