Site access from mobile/iphone

Hello, Webmaster - just a quick suggestion to help people like me (who rarely use the PC and do most of our stuff from iPhone). There is a free forum plugin called Tapatalk which also works with phpbb3, that allows a native iPhone client to access all the forums, etc. This makes the user experience on the iphone (and android, nokia, blackberry, etc.) simply fantastic. Is it possible we can explore adding this to the site - more details are available at http://www.tapatalk.com/plugin.php, and if anything in the nature of technical assistance is required, I will be glad to help.

I am sure this will increase the participation levels.

that is a great suggestion frastow, i will surely look into it but a number of modules on our board will probably not work with this plugin, most of the modules on our website is based on a 3rd party source codes or modules created from scratch for ad4x4.

Hi Antrax, thanks for looking into it - am sure that at least the forums will work fine, along with the PM's, etc. Else the site is always there for the stuff that doesn't work.

i can create a new parallel installation of phpbb3 only on www.ad4x4.com/mob using a light theme that will load quickly on any mobile phone browser.
