Please send us feeback Marco whenever you have any. I hope none of you will ever need to worry about bending axles and the headaches it comes with.

This weekend I tried the JK on the sand.
Being the reinforcement a passive protection I cannot report any change or modification of the driving feeling.
When I will check again the camber in the future I will verify that there has not been any increase and I will report.
For sure a good thing is that I am not any more worried if I get any bump and this is great compared to the previous situation without reinforcement.
Altogether with the Lovell 2' lift, springs and shock absorbers, I believe that this set up is really optimised.

Dear All,

We want to start thanking you for the support and the trust you have given us towards reinforcing your Axles. Since we made a first test, we reinforced more than 10 axles a month. Some went out of the country while others were installed you AD4x4 Club Member vehicles and other off roaders.

I am writing to you today to inform you about an issue we have faced with 1 axle last week:

Club Member: Azzamy
Vehicle: JK 2012 2DR
Height: Stock Height

Ramy 4x4 has convinced Azzamy that there will be no issues reinforcing the Axle with the Artec kit because myself have spoken to Artec and have made clear that the kit will fit on a stock height JK. We faced the following problems:
- Reinforcement Brace fouling with right side chassis rail
- Reinforcement Brace fouling with left side chassis rail
- Reinforcement Brace founling with engine oil pipe

Azzamy has directly discovered a knock when hitting a bump and has given the car to me to test drive. The knock was evident and something had to be done. Ramy 4x4 asked Azzamy for 2 days to investigate further and come back with a solution. Till today, we are very thankful for the patience Azzamy showed towards us and the continuous trust. 2 days were given to us. During these 2 days we discovered that the only ways to solve the problem were:
1- Return axle back to stock by purchasing a new one. Ramy 4x4 would be completely responsible for the cost
2- Offer Azzami an extremely special price on a 2" lift kit with extended bump stops. Ramy 4x4 would be sharing the cost of this project as Azzami didn't have in mind to be spending even more on the vehicle at this time

We finally took the decision to lift the vehicle by 2" and install Rancho RS9000 shocks. Wheel spacers were unecessary with this kit but we still installed them to widen the track and give a better stability. We did a full suspension collapse test to the vehicle to make sure nothing would interfere with the chassis. We changed the damaged oil pipe on our account. We test drove the car alone and with Azzamy and were all finally satisfied with the outcome.

Since both Azzamy and I decided to be completely transparent about this issue, we aggreed that we would share our whole experience here with you.

Please feel free to ask any questions you have.

My final personal few words: If the client the mistake happened to was not a member of AD4x4 or any other trusted clubs (but I insist, AD4x4 in particular), he would have made a big "fuss" out of it. For that I thank Azzamy for his patience, his trust and his understanding. I also thank AD4x4 for its great background, great off road mentality and great way of maintaining amazing club members.

Regards,

Totally agree.

I can honestly say that the guys in Abu Dhabi worked so hard to resolve an issue i had with a part which appears to be faulty from manufacturer side including, rapid delivery of replacement to continue weekend fun, additional delivery of oiling part for the prop shaft (didn't need to do that) and constant contact from them to let me know updates on delivery of parts. Of course delivery and collection direct with WM to sort thus saving me time sorting it myself. Excellent work guys, keep it up. Def come back for more based on willingness to do whatever they could to help, just need some money which i am sure helps ;) .

I would like to thank you Marwan for the job that has been done on the car.
Yeah , it was mentally a tough week until the issue has been resolved . Thinking about the options , resolutions and everything . Still it was a learning opportunity from the meetings we had to brainstorm about the solutions ,lying under the car to figure out the problem:).
The customer care was magnificent although i have caused you a headache calling 1000 times a day :D but it's my baby I have to do so :)
Although am from those guys who like to keep the car stock but actually it was the best option . Actually i feel the difference in driving experience even before testing it in the desert ( trust it will be fine) ! And am eager to continue the project as I still have some place in the bedroom to store other parts :)

The lesson that I have learned from that is :
1- if u wanna keep it stock don't do (Anything ! ) else it will end having a car in the garage and its spare parts beside the bed :D
2- if you want to modify , There is a lot of options . But evidently Ramy 4x4 wont leave you until they see the smile on your face and yea they do take responsibility.

Thanks!

Now its time for another Anit and some bigger tires

And I just got the great news that my broken terraflex propshaft was accepted as being faulty, they had stopped making it and I now have a nice credit note waiting. After such good news and hard work from the guys, who could say no to spending some money improving the car. Thank you.

Agree with azzamy, it makes so much difference to get the support and advice so you are keen to do more knowing it is time and money well spent.

Thanks for sharing. It is very strange case as Artec guys assure it works on stock height!

Im curious to know what have they replied in regards to this case if it was submitted to them.

Thankfully Azzamys JK is back and better ;)

Ramy4x4 - Thanks for this service! Appreciate it!

Thanks Marwan!

Glad to have Ramy4x4 here in the UAE ... you support us ... we support you!

re Artec truss in stock height applications ... it is all a matter of bump stops!
So I assume this will be Artecs answer ... you need to check for clearance under full bump and add those minimum bump stop extensions no matter what height!

(Ideally ... if you don't want to loose up travel you lift your suspension as well ... but could be simple coil spring spacers and shocks which would not need even more bump stop extension)

There is a cheap and basic way out to regain some uptravel (close to stock again):
http://www.quadratec.com/products/16058_1140_07.htm
1.75" budget boost with shocks which obviously do not need additional bump stops ... for lame USD 320 ... and work good enough (better than stock ;) with the same comfort and no trackbar and driveshaft hassle )

Marwan , I hope you can put this very basic and small lift in your inventory ... smaller and cheaper than the Teraflex BB and works well for such cases!
