What the warranty covered exactly?
I bought it 13july2011, after very few trips the front shocks were bent and then you never accepted to replace it under warranty
Can you please tell us what the warranty covers exactly......?

Dear SAND STORM,

I have just enquired about your case and was told the following:
1- Warranty on shocks is covered if there is a shock leak or a loss of pressure. We understand that these systems are being used on the sand therefore we are not strict when it comes to the word "misused"
2- When shocks bend, that means that the shocks have been "misused".

All damaged shocks, whether they are RANCHO, KING, TERAFLEX, AOR, LOVELLS or other are photographed and then pictures sent to the manufacturers for check-up. In this case, LOVELLS manufactures system for military, armoring, train, and other uses. It is their profession, they know when shocks have been misused or not.

Not sure of issue with this shocks, but i had some issues with AOR shocks, that was replaced upon claim. It looked like manufacturers defect, that has place in any product. However i dont think this defect would show up if i'd used them on-road :mrgreen:

Dear All,

We have received calls and emails front concerned AD4x4 members who own an FJ CRUISER. The main concern presented was:
- Why are FJ Cruiser members discriminated? The discount given on the FJ Cruiser is lower than the discount given on other vehicles. Why is this offer not the same for all?

We thank you for sharing your concerns. We appreciate all kinds of comunications between Ramy Team and You guys. That proves to us that you are very open towards us and streight forward.

Here is the answer:

- The FJ CRUISER Kit Retail Price is based on a SMALLER Mark-UP than the Retail price of the other kits. This means that if the offer was not on, we would be making LESS profit on the FJ Cruiser Kits. The reason why we have a smaller margins on the FJ Cruiser Kits is purely due to more competition available in the market.

- The fact that the Retail price of the FJ CRUISER Kits are based on smaller margins proves that we are not discriminating FJ CRUISER Members.

- The discount we are offering is not based on a percentage from Retail Price. It is based on a fixed Mark-Up from Cost Price. Exemple:
LC200 Kit Cost: AED 1,000
LC200 Kit Retail: AED 1,500 (50% mark-up exemple)
LC200 Kit Special Price: 1,150 (Based on 15% mark-up)
This shows that we have done a discount from retail of 23%

FJ Kit Cost: AED 1,000
FJ Kit Retail: AED 1,350 (35% mark-up. We cannot do a 50% mark-up due to high competition)
FJ Kit Special Price: AED 1,150 (Based on same 15% mark-up)
This shows that we have done a discount from retail of 15% which is lower than the one provided to the LC200

The above figures show that we are not discriminating the FJ Cruiser Owners and that we are treating it as all other kits during the offer (mark-up wise) but that we are treating it better than others during the normal retail

I hope this has clarified things. These figures are unreal but they show exactly what has happened with the discount levels. They also show that FJ Cruiser is being treated better than others during normal retail and exactly like others during discount.
