The new Jimny?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering about the 2019 Jimny... As you may know, Suzuki claims that it was built for offroad. I know it is very low on HP and Torque, however it is a very light vehicle which might slightly make it up for the lower power.

Do you know anyone who has tried it on the sand? I have seen a couple videos on youtube and it seemed to drive swiftly on the dunes, but it is always better to know someone who has driven it to get a more detailed feedback..

2020 model is sold now for around 70 K for the manual gear with 7 years open warranty!

I had a friend that drove an older Jimny in the dunes a lot. There were many people that could not keep up if he led the track. The only down side was on long steep climbs the HP would not last. On small to medium dunes he was unstoppable. The new Jimny is suppose to have more power then his had. A parts are cheap to replace is ,y understanding.

The car has acceptable power compare to the size. But I don’t think it’s worth 70k. I can buy 2017 Jk for this price which definitely can do much more than Jimny.

My personal opinion.

I tried it out on the dunes, the car is okay as you mentioned on small & medium dunes... lacks power on higher climbs.

The car is capable, but it's over priced at AED 70k

The old Jimny was good for the money it cost 45 to 50 new.

70 is a whole lot more money, although it does look fun keeping up with those buggies

Thank you all for your comments! I guess you guys agree that it’s over priced.. I actually thought the price is okay for a brand new car with 7 years open mileage warranty... now I’m having 2nd thoughts..
