Hello all,

I am looking to slowly modify my 2014 4 Dr Wrangler. I am looking to have a roof deck / ladder custom made for sitting / sleeping / carrying stuff. I currently have a Rugged Ridge Sherpa rack with 2 crossbars. Are there any shops in Abu Dhabi that can do this sort of work? I've been looking for ~6 months, but have come up with nothing. Thank you ahead of time for any and all suggestions.

Unfortunately you will not find such in Abu Dhabi. You can find it in Duabi.

Hi @FidoDido, thanks. That is what I am finding out. i was all set to go and do this in the spring and then well, you know what happened. So Dubai is out for a bit. Unless I need to go for work and then I might make some appointments before hand and see what I can do.

Hi @bhisho, thanks for the names, Ramy put the rack on, but they are a small shop in Abu Dhabi and not the big setup like they have in Dubai. I went online and saw both shops and got their info. Now to go and visit to see what can be done.

** Update **

I went to Qaruoty Car Services and they did the first round of mods to the Jeep. They installed a 2" lift kit, rims, and tires. I am really happy with their service and with the vibe in the shop. The three times I've visited it has been very active and the other 4x4 owners I met have been very welcoming. I would definitely recommend them if asked.

I have had work done by Ramy 4x4 in the past, and they were really great and friendly, I just have issues with their hours of operation in Abu Dhabi. They are not very convenient at times.

I cannot say anything about HQ Performance as I did not visit them.

BTW, I found a great place that makes custom metal / aluminum / stainless steel mods for cars. Great service and price. Hector
