Hello,
I just want to know that can I use my Honda Pilot 2012 (4x4) for off-roading. I have no past experience of off-roading whatsoever and the car is not installed with any kind of lift kit etc at the moment. I saw some videos where people are using pilot for off-roading, but I have no idea if I can use it being a complete newbie. In case, it is required to have a lift kit, etc installed, can anyone please suggest to me any garage in Dubai?
Thank you in advance. Looking forward to some advice.
Thank you,
Muhammad Azib

Re: Honda Pilot 2012
Hi Azib,
The honda pilot is a soft roader, with no low gear, it is an all wheel drive not a full 4x4.
While technically you can take anything off-road (you can see vids of nissan sunnys doing crazy things in the sand), the off-roading in the UAE desert is very taxing on the car and is completely different from wgat you see US off-roaders do, you will get stuck a lot and probably break stuff.
So while technically you can go in, drive and finally reach out… it would not be enjoyable for you , especially if you break something.
The above is a personal opinion, and I would not recommend it.
