Garmin Montana ... thats so yesterday!
Santa delivered me a shiny Monterra (which I had paid hard cash for). Okay, so I'm an Android Man, but I'm really happy with it. Got all sorts of communication mediums (USB, WiFi, bluetooth, ANT+, ....), has the same great screen as the Montana, but with touch buttons.
So far I'm very happy with it, and it is a huge change to my eTrex Hcx that I was using previously (with a postage stamp for a screen!).
I don't think the Monterra is availalble in the UAE yet, mine came from the USA, and no, it's not cheap!
If anyone wants a sneak peek at my Monterra, try to catch me in the dunes over the next couple of weekends.

It's a while ago since I asked about the Montana's vs. 276c. In the meantime there's also the Monterra out on the market.
Time for feedback, as I treated myself a few weeks ago - decided for the Montana 650 instead of Monterra, reason being stable firmware.
I have to say it's a fine device, also works well on-road with the speaker-cradle. The screen is nice and bright enough in the sunlight!
No second thoughts so far, all you ant in a compact package!
