Our usual exit near the solar plant behind Bab Al Shams may not be available to us much longer. The expansion of the plant from a 150 MW facility to a 1,500 MW facility has blocked the road we usually exit on.

We were able to detour around the plant on Friday via a mix of access roads around the perimeter and one on the farm next door. , but as we came out onto the road I noticed a Private Entry sign on the paved road we used for the last 500 meters.

I don't think they will want us driving around the power plant access and private farm roads for much longer. It's probably better for us to work out a new exit and stay low profile.
