Hi there,

I was wondering if anybody has experience with the GAIA GPS 4WD App (Samsung or Apple) for off-roading in the UAE (or with any other app for that matter)?
I am wondering if the app together with Apple Carplay is good to use for the desert trips or if I should rather stick with the known (Garmin 680T or similar)?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I am offroading using Gaia since I started leading, totally offline and no issues are faced.

And chief bulldozer tested it in their trip to liwa and i had a positive feedback from him.

I recommend it all the time.
