Insurance Help.

Post by MegaMoe »

Hello all,

few days ago i bought an Audi TT Quattro 2002, but was 1st registered in 2003. now i am looking for a good insurance company but been getting some silly insurance quotations, anyone can guide me to a proper insurance company that would fully insure a TT with a proper price i'll really appreciate it.

Thx

Insure it 3rd party only and keep all wheels facing the ground :D

You’re going to find it very difficult to insure as it has only 2 doors and is classed as a sports car, try AXA in Dubai, sometimes expensive but will normally do full insurance

Just a question; why AXA in Dubai not the one in Abu Dhabi? Do they give different rates?

I insure all minethrough AXA in Abu Dhabi but even with my old 500sl, third party they still wanted minimum three years no claims.

Dubai /Abu Dhabi, it's all the same,

the problem i found with my Alfa is alot of companies wont insure what they class as sports cars, in the end i done it through Mepa, but even they didn't want to insure it

Registration is due for my beloved "Black Diamond" and am considering comprehensive with off-road coverage.......

I know that most of you would say AXA only, however, I need a contact person who can really complete the transaction smoothly and be able to offer a good discounted rate.

Feedback please.....

Old topic... ill up it ;)

In Aug the insurance is getting expired.

Looking to get new - with off-road coverage.

Axa quoted over the phone - 6200 AED. I think this is overpriced. Yet i like the service they provide.

But however even if i pay 6200 and it's my fault in any claim - i need to pay 10% of the repair amount.

So any other insurance with off-road cover? Any friends/contacts in axa and/or others to get a nice deal?

Looking for some feedback please

Try RSA in Abu Dhabi, better rates than AXA and comparable service. Also give discounts if policy is bought thru their website.

Since I am in the UAE, I used to work with an insurance broker. Service is good and headache free, as they are doing the evaluation of various quotations. Basically they work with all insurers. The rates are the same as from the insurers directly.

Thanks everyone. Will start calling and asking for quotations.

P.S. Ahmed, do all of above insurance companies cover off-road? ... As i've heard there are just few who does it.

Thanks.
