Well, it might be a bit of a David vs Goliath fun but it is a fun...
We still have plenty of time to learn before the pupils get to take on the masters...
The voicesin my headmay not be real, but they have some good ideas!
Great Trip ... a bit difficult ... very soft sands ... and two bumpers needs changing now ... waaa3
Now a tricky question, Habtoor service center said to me yesterday that i need a police report to start working on the bumpers! whats the recommendation to do this?!
It was my first GPS challange, it was awesome, the selected area & points were too good. A well organised event again makes me a proud member of the BEST 4x4 club in the UAE. My team had a bad start then all that happened what was feared like critical stucks, multiple stucks, pop outs etc. Thank GOD we were spared with roll over. My GPS had some issues so the lead was with Faragallah, Marc responded well for a newbie with brand new JEEP Wrangler. After all this we were not expecting much but managed to secure 1st RUNNER UP place. Al Hamdulillah.
While returning back I got excellant opportunity to lead a team of 2 newbies & 1 intermediate at night to the exit point for 15 Kms. It was wonderful experience. Thanks to Rexterra, Karim & Marc for being such a nice team on the way back. We managed a pop out, a 2 wheel puncture & few stucks over all, it was fantastic. Thanks to the organisers who made this dream come true.
One life is too short to fulfill all wishes, so make most of every moment!!!
A big, big thank you to the organizers ... it was a perfect event and a great experience!
Many thanks also to my teammates Faragallah and Hamit - I learned a lot from you during this day!
Hope this fun is coming back in 2012...
Walla this was really a fantastic day!
The place was fantastic, the organisation spotless, the fun... well quite challenging, and Team Fistful of Dynamite rocked!
Thanks Leon and Stefano for great tactics and spirit, I loved eating sand most of the day and chasing elusive little flags from time to time...
Many thanks AD4x4 and long live the GPS fun, we'll come back next year!
Cheers
