This may sound demented but I seem to have lost my avatar and now would like to replace it with another pic.
Question: how do I re-size it so that it fits?

Re: Re sizing pics for avatar
I created one recently, and I found out that the best resizing is done by the good old 'MS Paint'. Edit your pic in other software (Picassa, Adobe or others), save and then resize it in Paint to the approximate dimension. Take care to always save a backup after every major change or you may end up repeating the efforts.
