Abu Dhabi Pink Day Trip Report

Wow!! Will start my report with a big wow!! Thank you all for joining and making this event a great success. Was pleased to see most of the people wearing pink it helped in sending our love and support to all the fighters outhere. Felt that today we painted the desert pink and spread some positive energy in the air. We all met in Sweihan BBQ point where we had a quick introduction and then participants were split into 4 convoys. The trip Marshals are welcome to add their reports here. We finished the trip at around 5:30 pm.

Last but not least, I would like to thank all the Marshals and support team for their great efforts.

Thanks to AD4x4 for organising the event. What a great turnout it was. Marvelous to see so many cars ready to participate for such a worthwhile cause. After dividing up the drivers into smaller teams, we held a safety briefing and our group headed across the sands towards Nagrah by starting in the smaller technical dunes and working our way to the more open medium dunes. Congratulations to all the drivers, the support group and especially to the ANITS in the group, some who had never driven in the desert before, excellent performance.
After some second tries and a stuck or two we returned to base camp with huge smiles and new drivers eager for the next adventure with AD4x4.

I look forward to seeing our new stars in the desert very soon

First I'd like to Thank Misso for organizing and managing this event, and to thank all supporters ,
We start our ANIT briefing and SAFETY instructions to our group,
Start the move toward the East and drove about 12km ,Coffee brake / chatting / taking photos then head back to the the BBQ point,
Several second tries / stuck, which was fun for everybody,
I was leading the convoy from the right Seat as my second half was driving

At the the end of the trip, the members had to pay back us , Yes they pay back the BIG SMILES and the thank you AD4X4.
Hope to see all again soon.

@Misso, Kindly advice the attended ANIT names to give the first STARS and to DELETE / Cancel the none attended ANITS, so the trip counter will not count

I recently moved to AD, and to be honest, I was not exited to join the trip, as I thought it will be boring and the newbie ride will be very easy.
I was wrong, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the ride with Marshal Kevin was very challenging for a newbie ride, I enjoyed every minute of that day.
Thank you for organizing this event & looking forward to joining more trips soon, and get to know more people.

Dear team,
Thank you very much for taking time to teach us all safety requirements & basics.
Rule #1 is our safety.
It makes us feel more confortable / confident to have a safe trip despite we are beginners.
My family and I really enjoyed these trips since day one.
Beside the trip, we also enjoyed meeting new people, and there is a friendly environment.
Once again thank you very much for organizing these wonderful trips.

I would like to thank MissoBisho for organizing this fantastic and meaningful event. I was very amazed at the amount of participants that attended, am very proud to be part of this wonderful family.

As we were broken up into our groups and I gathered with everyone in my newbie convoy. We had the safety briefing and assigned the convoy order and instructed them on what we are going to be doing during the whole drive. We started out in the smaller technical dunes towards the powerlines, everyone was doing great following my track. Only a few 2nd tries and 1 or 2 stucks before we reached the gatch road.

After we cross the gatch into the much more open and larger dunes we continued weaving thru the dunes and doing many straight cresting and having a few more stucks which is never an issue, its all part of the fun. We stopped for a break where FidoDido made the announcement for the upgrade of Isham to Explorer as he was 1 of my support team. Congratulations to Isham. After our break we continued on making our way to the bigger dunes so the newbies can practice more and to get more comfortable with there vehicles with plenty of ascending and descending small and medium slip faces and small side sloping for confidence building.

As time was winding down we made our way back to the base camp where everyone gave their feedback with was all positive. Thank you all for driving with me and I really appreciate my support team for helping and assisting where need you both were very vital to making the drive a success.
