Sweihan to Khazna Sunday 13th

Sweet Ride.
What else can I say. Marshal Thomas and Borja and I met at deflation. Sinan was running a tad late but so glad willing to come. Quick brief and off we went to the first big bowl. We doubled back to meet Sinan and then heading west. Hit some of the tall stuff and got a good flow. Couple short breaks and more bowls and more medium side crests. Did not make it all the way and visibility was not great after dusk so hit the gatch on north side along fence to hit the main gatch back to Khazna farm point. Thank you Thomas and Borja for support, for my learning moment to get me off crest to avoid fence. Worked perfect. All car weight leaning right but with one strap between me and Thomas and another strap between Thomas and Borja in the back, we made it look easy. Sinan did great. I think. Couldn’t actually see him as I was up front but we shall see some video maybe and then the evidence will come in. Haha.
Thanks again guys for helping me get some dune time in before vacation. Good group and had a really good time.

Nice drive I had some mechanical/hardware surprises to start with after getting the car back from the favorite Mussafah garage... but, got some really good video from the GoPro, will compile something when I get some time. Interesting "tandem" recovery of Mark hanging over the "wrong" side of the crest with a nasty fence on the other side . Impressive self recovery of Borja from nasty ditch. Some car acrobatics from Sinan. Some really nice bowls on the way. Saw a couple of antelopes. Looking forward to next one...
