Re: Speedometer Calibration

I just used the diablo to calibrate the speedometer.
Entering the tyre and rim sizes did not work as it started reading 10km more.
but by entering the measured size of the tyre using a measuring tape worked fine and now the speedometer reading is the same as the gps reading.

Speedometer Calibration

Post by Aidy »

Actually intending to do the adjustable front track bar for proper axle alignment along with the geometry correction brackets. Hopefully that would do the trick. Next on the list is the programmer :)

Thanks guys for the input

Take the good news. When you come to sell the car, it will also report lower mileage :D

So if your real speed is 120, the speedometer will read it as 110 .... Now Aidy's problem are the radar cameras ofcourse, he want to ajust his speed to the legal road speed .... So if his speedometer is reading 120KM/H, it actually means that his actual speed is 130 KM/H and he gets a ticket ... That's the explaination of my advice
do ou really think that he is gonna be able to speed in that thing

Adiy My Friend, I am worried about you. So much focus on the speed :D . In the desert you told me to keep the momentum was the key. Have you given up the desert for the sake of speed?
