Is my car suitable for ANIT?

Post by Calvink888 »

Hello all,

I have bought a 2017 JK 4 door. It has 2inch lift with 285/70/R17 BFG all terrain ko2.

I recently visited a Jeep shop in Dubai who specialize in modification and they told me my car would require 3 inch lift and different tyres to go into the desert.

Is their advice correct for a ANIT level driver? I would rather upgrade once I have some basic understanding and meet the group.

Thanks and look forward to meeting you all.

Thank you, Bisho.

One more question: I plan to purchase the ANIT supplies this week. Is the air compressor mandatory for the first session?

Thanks
Nick

The car as is with this setup is suitable all the way to Marshals :D

Seems they were interested in some new business.

I would recommend to attend to the ANIT briefing first before buying any off-road gears. With that you will learn more about what exactly you need and where to buy.

Compressor is not mandatory for your first trip. Don’t worry we will take care of you.

Enjoy the sand with AD4x4
