Which Tires to buy? Wrangler 2 DOOR

Post by Srdjo »

Hi All,

I want to buy new tires for my 2 Door Wrangler JL.

The car is not modified at all and I decided to go with 265/70 R17 AT tires.

Could you please recommend something which is not loud for the street and also capable of light offroading?

TIA

Hello,

The original tire brand; good year wrangler, is very much suitable. you can proceed with that. or you can check the cooper brand, Kumho road venture. ask the tire shop for their advice as well.

Thanks a lot Mustafa!

I thought to go for Cooper AT3 4S 265/70 R17 As I didn't make till now a lift kit.

What is your opinion about that size and brand?
I also have a plan soon to join offroading is it good for the beginning?

Also if you have some trusty tire shops to recommend it would be appreciated!

For off roading purposes, you may go up to 275/75/17 on stock without problems (I ran those on my care before lifting)

Brand wise Cooper is one of the recommended tires.
It is never too late... Get up and buy a Jeep!!!

Something that is bothering me a bit is that the service advisor from western motors told me that anything bigger than 265/70 will affect my extended warranty.

Do you know anything about that?

However, thanks a lot for your quick answer and support!
