GPS SCREEN PROTECTION

Post by MAGNUM »

Dear sand lovers ,
I had an idea that I don't know if it did cross some ones mind before ,but i posting for it any way :)
I brought a phone touch screen protection (iPhone 6/Samsung note 3) and tried to measure it with my gps device (Garmin/Montana 650) and found it almost fit! With some trimming by a knife or a razor blade it was just fantastic!

I think it the way to prevent screen scratches ... I hope my suggestion is useful!

Enjoy the sand ,and play it safe :dance2:

Best regards ,

GPS SCREEN PROTECTION

Couple of other pointers. Try to keep docking unit out of sun when not using, damages the suction cup and the connectors. Also when starting car make sure GPS is not in dock and charger connected. Amit said this can damage battery and cause problem to the unit from the surge.

Good informative post thanks.

Any device connected to the car chargers will damage the unit while starting. I have damaged the phone :)

The way we see the problem is the problem.
