yes with slip yokes.
And chain :( ...

but one major thing : Now beginning from my engine until the end of my transfercase everything is bolton.
No more adapters, no weak 23 spline anymore. The NP261 is significantly stronger then the NP241 (it can handle the 600NM torque of my engine which is way over the specs of the 241 ) . It has a much wider chain and thicker gears as well as a much thicker mainshaft.

And if a part breaks, there is a big chance i can get a replacement part in equal quality here in the UAE.
As much as i fancy a gear driven transfercase - for the moment i fancy simplicity that simply works and rewards me with a working car ;) ...

Not yet - but i have now all necessary parts for the gearbox swap so far and they're working on putting it back together.
I'll stop over on Saturday and see how far they got.

Once the gearbox & engine, flywheel transfercase and clutch is mounted again, my exhaust will be done once again at sahara
( my engine will be put 10cm more to the back - so the headers need to be shortened )...

I got everything assembled ... so the nv4500 + clutch + flywheel + transfercase (NP261) out of a 3500 hd silverado for 15000 aed...

Progress:
Yesterday i went to 7p again and my car was neighboring with chafik's tj ;) ... Engine is back in and has plenty of room in front now ( moved back 6 inch. All the mounts are done.
So today they'll take it to the exhaust shop ( sahara ) and redo the headers & cut the pipes a bit ... my A/C pump needs to be relocated from down left to the upper left, because its in the way of the mount & headers.
On top of that i'll try to get a jk clutch pedal and clutch pump & hose as well as the shifter boot as soon as possible.

On top of that i need to get my rear driveshaft cut again and altered to fit the TC output joint.
The gearbox is huge as well is the TC ... If this is not holding it ...

just visited my car today ... *sniff* as i did last weekend of course as well ...

Status is : parts arrived and reassembly began. According to hisham he doesn*t need anything but he insists on doing
this stupid thing with the gm computer to emulate the jeep pulse input for the rpm gauge :( ...
Anyway he told me "by the end of next week" it will be finished.

of course i believe him.

ok ... simple electrotechnical remark :

the crankshaft position sensor on the GM engine is a Hall sensor and uses +12V as feed !
the tach signal out coming from the GM computer through the Speartech Harness is providing what?
http://ls1tech.com/forums/15982459-post3.html

the crankshaft position sensor on the Jeep engines is a Hall type too ... but it uses a +5V sensor supply ...

the Jeep pcm driving your dash expects a different signal amplitude than the GM CKP/or the tach output will deliver ... if Hisham does not do some precautions he might fry your Jeep CPS input
(besides the pulse pattern / frequency differences  )

I am really curious about the outcome
