RECALL on ALL AOR Yellow Tow Ropes Sold Lately

Post by RAMY4x4 »

Dear All,

This is to inform you that the AOR Yellow Recovery Ropes you have purchased from us are actually TOW Ropes and not SNATCH Ropes. Although factory has confirmed that they do elongate by 1m, experience has proven that they do not really stretch.

Since Ramy is totally transparent with its clients and SPECIAL AD4x4 Members, we hold ourselves responsible for any Yellow Rope that has been sold under Snatch Rope and not Tow Rope. Please feel free to return yours if it has been purchased during the last 2 months.
Please note that a TOW Rope is essential for towing vehicles out of the desert or our of a complicated situation. They are not good for SNATCHING.

Please feel free to contact Mano on 0506440510 should you have any question about this issue.

Thank you for your trust and understanding.

Kind Regards,

Ramy 4x4 Team

Excellent service, thanks Marwan,

To all members that have one of these, I suggest you keep it for a Tow rope, there will be a time you need it yourselves or for a friend.
Just get yourself a good snatch strap as well.

Dear All,

Marco and Kaylie purchased WARN Snatch Ropes as a replacement to their AOR Yellow Rope. The WARN ropes are supposed to be very good but a little pricy. Please let us know if you have any feedback about these WARN ropes. If you approve of them, we will put them on sale.

Regards,
Marwan

Dear Marwan,

thanks for the transparency of your company and the information to our club.
The warn rope, that Marco bought doesn't feel like a snatch strap either. We used it recently and it didn't seem to stretch at all.

Thank you for your feedback,

I hope more people can send feedback too. I already heard last week that "it stretches too much". Can you guys make it a point to try it next time you go out? If it doesn't work, we will have to find another source.

Regards,
Mano

I can confirm the above observation on the same trip.

Strange, but I have WARN snatch strap as well, and seems to work well. However I never had ARB, so cant compare to it. But compare to bushranger it does the job well, and looks much more solid.
