iPad mini holder for offroading

Post by scotchyl »

I have just been given an I pad mini for birthday and would like to see if I can use while off roading in the JK. I know some members have these in cars and wonder which mounts they have used and their feedback on them. I have the wifi and connect version so will get SIM card for it. I have seen this one as

http://www.tvc-mall.com/details/3-in-1- ... 3godRiUATg

I want to mount it away from windscreen and avoid drilling holes in car if possible. I think clamp on this will fit either handrail on glove box or to under part of seat.

Thoughts and comments.

Regards

Hey andi , I have tried 2 mounts so far . First one which is mounted on the windshield and it was ok , the draw back of it is visibility .also , i have used another mount that u can fix in the passenger seat , but i didnt like it as well as i usually put the icebox infront of passenger seat .
I saw one mount and i want to try it , its mounted in the cup holder , i think it will be nice .

Not trying to troll here mate, but I feel anything in the front seat (especially as heavy as a filled icebox) can be very dangerous in the unfortunate event of a rollover.. Allah ye7meek :)

this holder is too long. It will let your ipad shake around making it impossible to read it ( almost impossible ) .
