Lead & Sweep ft. The Stingray

Lead & Sweep ft. The Stingray

Thank you all for joining, was a lovely Sunday afternoon. Sweihan sands have become a lot better than the last time I was there. Please take the following comments on a positive learning note!

First leader was Afzal, he took an advanced track. Excellent communication to all drivers and good smooth track. For an advanced track, need to increase the level of driving more.

Anwar was next, he took an advanced 101 which wasn’t really a 101, however, it was a technical advance track done well! Need to work on navigation skills.

Maher took a high level intermediate track. Very fast paced and smooth through the big dunes, good navigation skills and on time, enjoyed your lead!

Reji decided to take an intermediate track however it was more on the newbie side, need to work on creating your own tracks although for a newbie track it was good. After getting used to the lead, you did well in changing from existing tracks!

Final lead was Chrismon, took a newbie track and done it well. Always communicating and checking with the drivers in his convoy. Well done! Your 2nd lead needs to listen to your instructions more ;)

Explorer Ahmedo joined late to the trip, getting stuck everywhere even on small crests. I think you should switch to Jeep. Thank you Ahmed for joining, enjoyed your company as always! Future weewoo Marshal for our club.

Excellent driving from all, all leaders please write your own short trip reports in the comments below. See you soon!

Thank you Isham for your valuable time and comments. It was a new experience for me to lead a convoy and definitely long way to go. Enjoyed the time with the entire team and it was real fun.

Afazal started with a smooth intermediate track and all was comfortable with it. He was easily navigating in between the dunes and hit the target within no time.

Mehar's choice of track was fantastic and it was like free flow.

Reji took a Newbie++ track and over the period of time, he shown his class.

Finally it was Chris with fresh Newbie track and we all had unlimited fun!

Thank you Ahmad for joining with us and ur presence made the whole trip more enjoyable. Please teach us how well a person can get stuck! 😜😜

Thanks again Matshal Isham, ur comments and observation will fuel up for our coming drives!

First of all....Thank u to Ishab Bhai...for this opportunity for all of us....and special Thanks to Ahmed who joined us to support....

It's a matter of learning so no much comments on that part....though all kept the AD 4X4 standards....well maintained track....caring for fellow drivers .....looking behind to make sure all is fine...

However still to comment on the drivers....Mahers track was well amazing great job Maher......Next Anwar good track technical as well....Afsal great effort to start the trip as first lead nice track and great communication, we felt as you are driving our car...Reji chettan grear fun part when our Marshall and explorer gave us tough time .... we will find great track next time....

This was a fun filled drive with a lot of learning experience on the fun and trouble a lead has to take...to make sure we go together and we come out safely together...

Thanks to AD 4X4....and all Marshall's and leads who taught us to do these ritely....

First of all thanking Marshal Isham for posting Lead and Sweep.
Lead and Sweep is always good and new experience when it comes in leading the convoy and looking after your convoy.

We were also glad to have Media team coverage and support. Thanking Ahmed for his support.

All drivers have done very well and we have learned lot of our drawbacks especially times were Marshals suffer with Newbie.

Leaving fact that Anver track was not taking advance 101, it was good adreline advanced. Maher track was very nice fast track and just was having small jeep track issues as second lead. We had a nice newbie ++ with Reji and Isham Bai took initiate in getting stuck and to demonstrate the recovery part.
Since we all had a long drive, it was very pleasant to have Newbie trip and enjoyed lead by Chris.

Thanking all again and see you all soon.

Everyone did well  and some did outstanding performances. It was first time  experience. I was told that Lead and sweep trip will be boring . But today's trip was fun as well as learning. Thanks Marshall ISHAM for your time, patience and planning. Also thanks to Just Ahmedo! your presence made an extra vibe to the convey.
In short, another wonderful day in DESERT.

Please note the trip report posting time : 6.28pm, immediately after the trip, with each one's driving comments. THIS IS "DEDICATION".

It was a great trip and a lovely day. I enjoyed each track and everyone did really great.
Thanks Isham for organizing this kind of trip, allowing the drivers to practice this skill, identifying their mistakes and helping them.
Next time I’ll get the jeep and make sure to get stuck on every dune :D

This was a fantastic trip. Thank you Isham for arranging.
It was a great learning experience. We learnt from our drives, feedback of colleagues as well as from each other.
Above all it was a safe trip, fun and a great company.
Ahmed joining and getting stuck added a nice spice to the above and made the trip memorable.

Learnt from Isham to hold observe patiently and give timely feedback.

Thanks Isham, Ahmed and all fellow drivers for a great trip and a memorable experience.
