NewB here.
What local portable air compressors do you recommend? I was thinking of ordering one from the states, but thought i'd check with you guys/ gals first. I'm running 35s and dont like to wait or it to cool down.
Does anyone use Co2 tanks? I'd love to use that as well.

as for the compressor
for 35" i strongly recommend an airflow above 66 liter / minutes
85 l/m would be fine, you can have it from ACE, Rami 4x4
good luck

Re: What did you modify in your car?
very happy with this one : http://www.4wd1.com/warn-vtc-air-power.htm ( jeep ) - 566l/min
and this one : http://www.arb.com.au/media/products/co ... ations.pdf ( CKMTA12 ) 132l/min
Very happy with both ... whilst of course the warn is simply outstanding
I'd recommend getting at least the dual arb ( CKMTA12 ) ...
For the warn if you can still source one, make sure you have an extra battery ... and maybe a high output alternator as well...

Re: What did you modify in your car?
Thanks for all of the warm welcomes and suggestions.
I think i'll go with this guy http://www.viaircorp.com/440P.html
Its a bit cheaper for me and I want something portable in case I tag along with someone else.

Sure ... you asked for something good... if you want to wait 20min until you get your 35** up to 35-36psi its up to you.773Raptor wrote:Thanks for all of the warm welcomes and suggestions.

Even for a popout with 35' i'd be not convinced that this one will be fast enough - because big tires tend to be a bit
more difficult to fix & have more leaks then smaller ones ... but your choice of course.
I'd still go for the arb double - there is a neat portable unit available, too - with air tank & some more tools included...

I just need air. Your compressor is nice. But too pricey for me.
And I seat beads with starter fluid and a match.

Try DM for a brand with a Camel on it. It's Chinese but only 260 AED Works swell. Only catch you may need to purchase a better flexible pipe from ACE
