latest news about dubai jamboree

Trading interprices are thinking to have two jamboree this year , one would be an easy family trip kind of thing , and the other one would be for people who wants to really enjoy the desert and have a good fun.

yala lets hope they do that , hmmmm i also asked them to provide GPS points in advance this will make it easy for us to insert the points before the event.

Thanks Jeep. I think I will go for the 2nd one only. First one will be boring like last year and KTFD. It's not made for us. Keep us posted.

If you have good contacts there, then maybe the club will officially participate and marshal with them.... I am talking about the second one supposidly "challenging" .

Khaiwi, how about Jamboree Abu Dhabi? we have all the routs over here and we can really make a nice trip. I think you have some contacts over here.

I know there might be a political issue

but if you feel it's OK then why don't we try.

Al Jallaf Jamboree will be discussed in the meeting. As u said its very much political, cause they want to maintain the good relation with EMI4x4, Rami Trading, MEBAR and other Jeep gurus who have been coordinating with them. However, this does not mean that we cannot approach them and add AD4x4 to marshal and have some credit and certain benefits to the members.

EMI4x4, Rami Trading and Mebar are our good friends and we have to respect them and respect thier relationship with others as well. I don't want spoil our club image with our friends. So I will leave this issue to be discussed in the meeting and see if we can manage to add our name without making any body angry.

I have been informed by Al Jalaf Co. that the initial date for AD Jamboree is Fri. 12.01.2007 unless it will be change at latter stage.
