This is typical Egyptian slang...master mechanic slapping his 12 yrs old assistant on the face calling him "ya"

Kris buddy: Do you remember the world map download we made last year ? I was astonished last week on my way back from a Trip ...guess what I saw my house street number, the block, the development and the PALM on my GPS...so you should basically have it too.... just keep zooming in while in town and you will be amazed...

I discovered that this down load included updating link by email.... so every Time you connect your GPS to the PC the GPS Map update its self.. amazing :D

haha i'll stop the "ya" then

i have that sendmap20 map on the streetpilot 2650 , but i broke that , and now got the 276C , tried downloading the same map from sendmap20 , that download from the other site , but the format isnt supported.
which link are you using?
which world map do u mean exactly?
i jst have the UAE map that Frank made on my old one ?
i was told i could download that old map onto the streetpilot because it was more of a PDA , but the 276C needs a code to only allow a garmin map to be uploaded..which costs a lot of money...
i'm jst looking for a decent map that the 276C will support without having to sell my tires to sponsor it

I payed 2900 for the device+gulf map+32MB memory card.
For the map updates you have to buy a new one, as per the salesman, they are releasing the 2007 map on march, last time it was released was back in 2005, so its better to buy the device now and get the new map once its available.

Im not sure what "sponsored" means ?

sponsored means like my last map - FREE! :D

the GPS is more of a toy , dont use it , but i still like looking at the pretty pictures , which is why i'm not really prepared to spend money on a map if i could possibly get it sponsored

Hi,

I bought My GPS Garmen  C310  to use it when i go to Dubai (I get lost alot and this delays my wife's shopping  ) .... I bought the ME Map Cd along with it ..which i have intsaled already..

Know I am planning to buy a new one ... most properly like what the orthers are using.

I saw two different models one was the c276 and other one was C27? somthing maybe 2.

DJ Sharaf (Ibn Battota Mal) claims 2100 Dhs for the device alone and it does not have a car charger.

Which one is better for off road use (advatges if possile)? and is it possible to use the old MAP CD or memory card?

Regards,
